Overview

Georgie began her pupillage in October 2024 and is currently supervised by John Oliver. Prior to this she was supervised by David Williams. During her first six months of pupillage, Georgie has observed and assisted on a wide range of criminal cases, including cases involving drugs, sexual offences and violence, as well as a number of extradition cases. Georgie has also completed a number of pieces of written work for other members of Chambers.

Prior to starting pupillage, Georgie was a paralegal in the extradition department at Sonn Macmillan Walker. During her time at Sonn Macmillan Walker, she assisted on numerous Part 1 and Part 2 cases, representing the Requested Person in both the Magistrates’ Court and on appeal before the High Court. These cases involved a full spectrum of issues, including arguments pertaining to Article 3, Article 6 and Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, as well as forum arguments.

During her time at BPP Law School, she volunteered as a caseworker for JENGbA (Joint Enterprise Not Guilty by Association) and the Freedom Law Clinic.
