Overview

Minahil will be accepting instructions across all areas of family law in appropriate cases from 1st April 2025.

Minahil began her family focused pupillage in October 2024. She has successfully completed her non-practising period of pupillage under the supervision of Maria Scotland and Gemma Lindfield. Minahil will continue to be supervised by Gemma Lindfield and Sarah Wood for the remainder of her pupillage.

Prior to starting pupillage, Minahil was a family law caseworker at Wilson Solicitors where she assisted with a broad range of family proceedings. From financial remedy cases to care proceedings she gained experience of cases across the full breadth of family law.  

Minahil previously worked in Pakistan for nearly 2 years as an associate at Khan & Partners in Lahore and most recently completed an LLM in Social Justice from University College London.

During her time at University College London, Minahil volunteered at the Haringey Migrant Support Centre, INQUEST and Citizens Advice and more recently as a casework volunteer at Advocate.

During pupillage Minahil has gained experience of public and private children proceedings, family law act applications, financial remedy and abduction matters. Minahil has been exposed to work in the High Court and the Court of Appeal in the course of her training.
