Gary Pons will present a Proceeds of Crime case law update alongside Jeffrey Bryant from the CPS at the Belfast Forum. The event has been organised by the Proceeds of Crime Lawyer's Association (POCLA).
The forum will take place on 1 March 2019, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. The event will take place at W5 in the Titanic Quarter.
The welcome and introduction will be given by the Forum's President, Lord Justice Davis and the opening address will be given by Jonathan Kinnear Q.C. The Forum will consist of a number of practical lectures for delegates and the afternoon will include a question time style panel event with the topic ‘Proceeds of Crime – in flux’.
The panel of experts will be chaired by Kennedy Talbot Q.C. and includes Lord Justice Davis, Jonathan Kinnear Q.C., Paul Winter, HMRC Financial Crime Liaison Officer Dublin and Gavan Duffy Q.C. POCLA members are invited to send in questions for the committee in advance of the forum.
