Chris May prosecutes a Mum from Margate charged with the murder of her partner.
After a frenzied exchange in which the victim was found to have no less the 24 knife wounds, the court were told how they defendant had the knife plunged through his heart after a reunion between the couple turned sour during an argument.
The defence had argued that it was self-defence however after sentencing the young mum to life imprisonment, Judge Adele Williams told her: “It started out as a defence – but turned to attack.”
