Dominic Connolly prosecuted Brian Phipps who was sentenced to a 5 month prison sentence suspended for 2 years for possession of Class B and C drugs with intent to supply with a “street value” of £12,000. Following the execution of a search warrant, cannabis was found in his bedroom. Text messages on his mobile phone indicated that he was a regular seller of cannabis in £10 and £20 deals. In an ammunition box found in the basement, Police Officers found a large quantity of BZP, a Class C controlled drug used as an alternative to ecstasy.
