Extradition Barrister Ben Keith was instructed by Mark Stewart at Stewart Begum Solicitors on 29 January 2014 where Mr Justice Collins allowed the Extradition Appeal of Alesander Baturo v Poland in a case involving private but not family life under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. There was an unexplained delay of 5 years between the issue of the EAW and the transmission to the UK and a 13 year delay overall. Mr Justice Collins emphasised that the Polish authorities must act with due expedition.
