David Williams, instructed by Sean Caulfield at Hodge Jones and Allen, has succeeded in preventing the extradition of a Polish national requested for a number of offences of robbery committed in his youth. Arguing extradition would now amount to a disproportionate interference with his private and family life, David persuaded District Judge Coleman that extradition would be inappropriate after a delay of approximately 17 years which remained unexplained throughout proceedings. He had settled in the UK approximately 7 years ago and was well established with his family in the UK.
