The appeal of the Government of Ukraine against the discharge order from extradition proceedings to Ukraine of District Judge Arbuthnot was dismissed as being an abuse of the court’s process by Rafferty LJ and Collins J who found that parts of the case had been fabricated by Ukrainian lawyers. The case is part of the allegations against Mukhtar Ablyazov and the alleged fraud on the BTA Bank (Kazakstan) Extradition Barrister Ben Keith was instructed by Rebecca Niblock at Kingsley Napley LLP.
