Barrister Ben Keith represented Police Service Scotland in the search warrant case of R(Holman Fenwick Willan) v Commissioner of City of London Police, City of London Magistrates' and Police Service Scotland. Mr Keith was instructed by the Government Legal Department in the permission hearing with regards to the jurisdiction of the English High Court over Search Warrants issued in Scotland. The case involved a search warrant issued in the Glasgow Rangers fraud investigation. The permission judgment can be found here. The case has now been settled.
