James Fletcher represented the Crown in Operation Abscission a successful money laundering prosecution of 2 individuals who paid £5.9 million of proceeds of crime into the bank account of a sham company.
On 10 November His Honour Judge Testar jailed company director Shazad Malik to 5 and half years' imprisonment and his courier, Mr Asher Frank, to 3 years' imprisonment.
