Mark Smith, a barrister in the 5SAH Extradition Team, successfully appealed an extradition order in the High Court under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The Requested Person was wanted in Poland to serve a sentence for firearms offences and robbery. However, his extradition order was overturned by Ouseley J, due to the short period of time remaining to be served in custody.
