John McNamara recently secured the acquittal of an Uber driver accused of sexually assaulting a woman.
John’s client was alleged to have sexually assaulted a woman in a fast food restaurant. The incident was caught on CCTV which allegedly showed John’s client touching the complainant's bottom; a complaint was made at the scene to door staff.
John’s client maintained that he had touched the complainant’s back. John argued that in any event, the touching was not sexual.
The trial lasted 3 days at Inner London Crown Court and the jury acquitted John’s client after 45 minutes. John was instructed by Judith Kessie at EBR Attridge Solcitiors.
