John's client was charged with seven offences, including making threats to kill, stalking over a period of nine months and, on more than one occasion, uploading sexual images of his former partner to social media. The jury convicted in relation to three offences. The offences were more than three-and-a-half years’ old at the time of the sentencing hearing. John’s arguments in relation to the passage of time since the offence, the defendant’s medical problems and the absence of offending since 2016 persuaded the judge to impose a suspended sentence with requirements.
John was instructed by Nimish Kotecha at Tuckers Solicitors.
