In response to the Call for Evidence from the Independent Review of Criminal Legal Aid Panel, John McNamara has co-authored the response of the Young Bar Committee on behalf of the Criminal Bar Association. The full text which focuses on the issues faced by junior practitioners can be found here.
The Independent Review is chaired by Sir Christopher Bellamy, and is expected to report in October 2021.
