Mark Cotter K.C., instructed via Queen Square Chambers, has secured the convictions of three individuals in connection with a mass stabbing incident outside a Cornish Nightclub in April 2023
Following a six week trial before The Honourable Mrs Justice Cutts, Jake Hill was convicted of the murder of Michael Riddiough-Allen and the wounding with intent of four other individuals. Tia Taylor entered guilty pleas to manslaughter and perverting the course of justice during the course of the trial and the prosecution elected not to proceed on the murder allegation in her case. Chelsea Powell was acquitted of murder but convicted of perverting the course of justice.
On 12th April Jake Hill was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 28 years.
