Welcome to our June 2020, 5SAH Extradition and International newsletter. Our last newsletter was in February 2020, where we were discussing the difficulties Brexit will present to our fellow practitioners in the field. Little did we know what was just around the corner. The law and the legal profession is having to adapt at lightening speed in the pandemic and it felt like time to provide an Extradition law update.
We are pleased to present a variety of articles and videos from our team of specialist extradition and international law barristers.
5SAH are experts in both defending and prosecuting in Extradition and International cases. We also have extensive experience of removing Interpol red notices and the subsequent asylum and extradition proceedings. Our barristers have a strong reputation, nationally and internationally. We work with teams of UK solicitors and foreign extradition lawyers as well as academic and political experts to provide the best service to our clients.
The team are ranked in Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500.
The newsletter features the following articles & videos:
- Louisa Collins: German Local Courts are Competent to Issue EAWs.
- Georgia Beatty: For Lexis Nexis - Coronavirus (COVID-19) and delays to extradition (Cosar v Governor of HMP Wandsworth).
