Junior ARDL and 5 St Andrew’s Hill Seminar: Back to Basics: an overview of the professional discipline process
Join JARDL and Alecsandra Manning Rees, barrister at 5 St Andrew’s Hill, for an introductory and whistle-stop tour of all things regulatory, starting with initial complaints and ending with post final hearings.
This session is aimed to give an overview of the professional discipline process for those new to regulatory proceedings, or wanting a refresher, and is ideally suited to trainee solicitors, paralegals, and pupil barristers.
The seminar will be followed by pizza and drinks.

The Speakers
- Alecsandra Manning-Rees is a barrister and joint deputy head of the Professional Disciplinary team at 5 St Andrew’s Hill. She is a specialist fitness to practise, professional disciplinary & regulatory barrister. She acts for both regulators and regulated professionals. She was appointed a Legal Adviser to the General Optical Council in 2023.
